Our website and/or our service does not intend to gather data about website visitors younger than 16 unless they have the consent of parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. Schijvens Corporate Fashion does not retain your personal data any longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is gathered. We apply a retention period of 5 years for personal data.

For recruitment processes, including application letters, forms, correspondence regarding the application, certificates, and certificates of conduct, we apply the following:

• If you are not hired:
  • 4 weeks after the end of the application procedure without consent, in accordance with GDPR
  • 1 year after the end of the application procedure with the applicant’s consent, in accordance with GDPR
• If you are hired:
  • 7 years after the end of the contract, in accordance with tax law

Inspect, amend or delete data

You are entitled to inspect, correct or delete your personal data. You are also entitled to withdraw any consent to the data processing or to complain about the processing of your personal data by Schijvens Confectiefabriek Hilvarenbeek BV and you are entitled to data transferability.

This means that you can submit a request to us to transfer your personal data that we hold in a computer file to you or to another organisation specified by you. You may send a request for the inspection, correction, deletion or data transfer of your personal data or a request for the withdrawal of your consent or a complaint about the processing of your personal data to hr@schijvens.nl. In order to ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to attach a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, blank out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.

You can submit a request by sending an email to hr@schijvens.nl. We will respond as soon as possible, but no later than four weeks after receiving your request.
You also have the option to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Complaint about the processing of your personal data

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

Schijvens Confectiefabriek B.V. is the data controller as defined under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Schijvens has an ISO27001 coordinator for data protection as an internal supervisor, who oversees the careful handling of personal data by Schijvens.
