Schijvens Corporate Fashion is a leader in sustainability and has taken a pioneering role in preparing for the CSRD. Although the reporting requirement is not yet in effect for SMEs, the Brabant-based family business, which falls into this category, has already provided sustainability information with its latest annual financial statement (fiscal year 2023/24).
In November, these efforts were recognized and rewarded with the first-ever CSRD awards. Schijvens was declared the winner in the SME category.
At the sold-out CSRD DAY 2024 in NBC Congress Center in Nieuwegein, attended by 600 visitors, Koninklijke Philips (large enterprise category) and Schijvens Corporate Fashion (SME/other category) were announced as the winners of the first Dutch CSRD Awards.

Last week, the organizers of the new CSRD Awards, the successor to the Kristalprijs, Impact Economy Foundation (IEF) and Van der Molen Environmental Internet Services, announced that twelve companies have been selected for the CSRD Awards 2024. CSRD DAY is a new annual event for both large corporations and SMEs, focused on the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the transition to a sustainable economy and business practices.

The European Commission has asked all countries to submit their best circular companies. Schijvens Corporate Fashion has been judged by the jury of the European Business Awards for the Environment 2020-2021 as winner of the Dutch Circular Business Award and nominee for the Koning Willem 1 Plaquette. We have been chosen as finalist from 16 countries (last 4!) and in November we hear in Brussels if we can bring the award to the Netherlands!
